My regular visitors have probably found out allready: due to increasing spam problems I was forced to move my English Guestbook to my Dutch Forum.

I really thought my spam problems would be over for ever, but nope... those iritating spammers have also moved, and day by day they fanatically harass my site with their annoying messages about penis enlargements and other nonsense stuff.

They are so boring!

I always try to delete those rotten messages immediately, but I can't be everywhere at the same time.

I tried to dump the jerks by banning their email addresses, but that didn't work out because they constantly use different adresses.

This week, I decided to get rid of those scoundrels by blocking their IP adresses. An IP address is the unique code for a computer on the Internet.

I poured myself a strong cup of coffee and started working on banning the unwanted creatures.

It was a great job and really enjoyed doing it. At last, I could throw out those moldy bastards for ever!

When I hit "Okay" for the tenth time to delete the next rascal something strange happened.

I couldn't get back to the moderator page, and seconds later a dark screen popped up:
"You are not allowed to enter this Forum. Please, contact the moderator for more information."

Huh?

What on earth was happening? How could it be that I wasn't allowed to visit my own Forum anymore?

In the next minutes the terrible truth slowly dripped into my brain: Good grief! I had banned myself!

Duh...

Fortunately, my son found out what had gone wrong.

One of those morons had used my IP address to dump his trash on my Forum.

And cheerfully thinking I was banning him, I had banned myself...

Oh my! If I ever get hold of one of those @#$%! bastards... I'll teach him!
